Eureka Springs Transit
ADA Paratransit
Paratransit service is granted to an eligible individual with disabilities for any trip he or she would be unable to make on the regular fixed-route transit system. Some individuals may qualify for certain trips, under certain circumstances or they may qualify for all trips. |
Paratransit services are available for trips that start and end within 3/4 mile of an existing trolley route AND on any day on which regular fixed route services are offered. |
Paratransit eligibility is determined using the following criteria:
1. He/she is unable (due to his or her impairment) to board, ride or disembark from an accessible transit vehicle.
2. His/her disability prevents him/her from getting to or from a transit stop. Please note that in this situation, the eligibility may not apply to all stops, but possibly only those in which an architectural barrier or environment condition is such that the individual becomes unable to access them.
Paratransit service involves next day service. However, you may call up to fourteen (14) days in advance to be sure you can get the time slot that you need. |
